  3. Use this window to describe your business and the account details.
  4. Note that the General Distribution Version of PW only supports one
  5. file/ account at a time. A summary of current activity period is
  6. displayed at the bottom right. The 'current activity' would be the
  7. fiscal year, or perhaps a financial quarter.

  9. POINTS TO NOTE:
  10.  
  11. AMOUNT BROUGHT FORWARD IS A SUM BROUGHT FORWARD FROM A PREVIOUS PERIOD.
  12.  
  13. It is not considered in the results of other windows
  14. which are calculated for the current year. I feel this makes sense
  15.  since one would usually only want  to know the results for the current year.

  20. TIP: If you think that the calculations shown are incorrect
  21. select "VALIDATE" from the SPECIAL MENU.

  23. This option searches all transactions and re-calculates the
  24. various categories of cost allocation centres.
